Plot Summary

After the destruction of Nibelheim at the hands of Sephiroth, Zack and Cloud are on the run from Shinra Inc. As they make their way back to Midgar, they recall the horrible events that happened at Nibelheim, as well as fight for survival against Shinra.

My Thoughts

What's awesome about this short flick is that it fills in the gaps for Zack's role in Final Fantasy VII's story. It's animated very well. After watching there is no question about how much of a badass Zack is. Aeris doesn't fall for any normal man! The last battle with Zack vs. Sephiroth is epic. This anime is a must-see if you're a fan of the game.

Side Notes

This was an addition to Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. It's an original video animation that was released with the Ultimate Edition of Advent Children (so called: Advent Pieces: Limited).
