Chapter 2, Part 3 Sailor Jupiter

Marine National Park

Chapter 2, Part 3 Map Chapter 2-3 Map

Having arrived in Canada, Jupiter decides to turn in for the day. She wonders if the Stone needed to protect Mamoru could be here. Jupiter reads a nearby sign that says “Marine National Park”. She decides to search for the stone tomorrow. But for now, she plans on having some dinner. She decides to catch some trout and have shioyaki for dinner. She has set up camp and cooks her dinner in a fireplace. Suddenly, she hears something from the bushes. Out of the bushes comes a famished man who wants to try out Jupiter's yummy meal. Jupiter offers to share her meal with him and the man is delighted. As the man eats, Jupiter comments on how he looks just like her sempai, who she just broke up with (lol).

The man finds Jupiter's cooking to be really tasty and compliments her on how good of a cook she is. He lives nearby, but he was still hungry. Jupiter gets confused and asks how he lives in a National Park. The man asks her if she's here at Marine Lake for sightseeing. Jupiter answers that she is here in search of a stone called Nephrite. If she doesn't find it, someone will die. The man tells her that there IS a stone around here like that, much to Jupiter's surprise. Perhaps someone at the village will know. Jupiter wonders where the village could be and the man tells her that he lives in Medias village. It's in the forest, completely surrounded by trees. Most people think it's too hard to get as far as the village. Everyone who makes it there gets a particular pendant. The man gives Jupiter an extra pendant for her excellent cooking. Now that she has the pendant, the man will take her to the village.

Medias Village

After guiding you to the village, the man will say that his dad is the village chief here. While Jupiter is here, she can stay over at the man's house. The man leaves after saying he has to go look something up in the village literature.

First thing's first, we have to find the item shop and purchase some much needed accessories for Jupiter's low stats. Go right, up, left (cross the bridge), up, and you will see a neighbouring item shop and Inn. Enter the item shop and buy a Bracelet and an Anklet. Buy some other helpful items too like Bentou and Medias H. Now open up your menu, then go to accessories. You should still have a Tiara, and some P.Earrings left. Equip Bracelet, Anklet, and Tiara on Jupiter, then exit the menu. Go find the Luna-P at the Inn and save, then exit the building.

While you're here at the village, explore around. Talk to the people if you want. All the women in this village will refuse to speak with you for some reason. You will notice a huge tree that has a front opening. DO NOT go in there yet, since you will lose the random battles in there. When you are done exploring, go east of the village and enter the big house.

George's House

Go right and speak to the woman.

She refuses to talk to you, but Jupiter asks why everyone is refusing to talk to her. The woman answers that Jupiter has become George's bride! Jupiter says there is some sort of a mistake. She could never be his bride. Jupiter flusters a little. The woman asks if George is getting married to that “other person”, which confuses Jupiter. She asks if George has a lover. The woman replies yes but says that the village chief of Medias refuses of the match. Jupiter asks who George's lover is and the woman answers that it is a girl called Mary, from the neighbouring village of Medias. Mary is the daughter of that village's cheif as well. Only they've had a falling-out with the neighbouring village. And it seems that those two's marriage will never happen. Jupiter wants to help the lovers get back together.

Now go left and then go upstairs to find George (that man who we found near the start of Jupiter's scenario). Speak to him and George will say that he has known Mary for 3 years, but they are not friends with that village anymore. Jupiter asks where the neighbouring village is and George answers that it's towards the east. He asks if she's going to see Mary. Jupiter tells him that she will bring the two back together. Now go downstairs and exit the house.

Go down, past the trees, right and keep going until you exit Medias Village by entering the next screen.

Outside the village

Eastern side Eastern side

Go right, until you can't go in that direction anymore. Now go up and you will go straight through the trees. Keep moving up until you find a guy walking around. Talk to him and he will give you a secret puzzle piece! Now get out of this area.

Note: I strongly recommend that you gain some levels here. Get to at least level 12. Also if you have been following my walkthrough accordingly, you should have completed the puzzle more than half way now at this point. If not, then keep battling random enemies until you get a lot of pieces.

When you are done training, just go right and follow the path until you find a sign board that says “This is Mishii Village”, which is the neighbouring town.

Mishii Village

Make sure you are near the sign board so you can find some more secret puzzle pieces. Go up, left, up, and you will find two barrels next to a house. Search the second one to find another secret puzzle piece! Now go right and you will see four barrels grouped together, near the item shop. Search the first barrel and you will find yet another secret puzzle piece! Yay! Open your menu screen and check the puzzle. It should almost be completed.

Note: This is a point in the game where a lot of people get stuck. After you talk to the village chief and you CAN'T see the pendant, that means you overlooked a step. When you enter George's house for the first time, you need to go right on the first floor and you'll find his mother in the kitchen. You must talk to her first to find the pendant. Then talk to George.

Let's move on now. Go right, then up and you will see Mishii's Village chief, who is standing in front of the door of his big castle-like house. If you try to get near him, he will be enraged to find someone, like yourself, from Medias Village. The gramps will push Jupiter away, demanding her to leave Mishii Village. Go left of the castle-like house and you will find a pendant on the ground. Press X (A) to examine it and Sailor Jupiter will say that the pendant looks just like her own pendant. Mary, from her bedroom window, asks for Jupiter to enter her house by climbing up and bringing that pendant along with her.

Mary's house

Jupiter climbs up and enters Mary's bedroom. Mary asks if Jupiter came from Medias Village. She notices that the pendant Jupiter has is from George and wants to know about him. Jupiter tells Mary to quiet down, since Mary's father is still around. Jupiter introduces herself and thought that maybe the people of Mishii Village could have helped her. She asks Mary if she wants to be together with George. Mary answers that if she was with him, she wouldn't want anything else in the world. Jupiter gets a bit embarrassed with all this.

Mary's father's is soon heard, as he yells for his daughter to open her room. There's nowhere Jupiter and Mary can hide! Mary's father continues to yell for his daughter to open the door. Jupiter soon gets an idea and decides to break down the wall. Mary gets confused, but Jupiter uses her super strength and brings the wall down! Mary is amazed and compliments Jupiter and her earth-shattering strength. Jupiter finds that the exits are covered up. Mary says that the area there are in now leads underground. She wonders if the underground could go all the way to the buried ruins of the “ancient God”. It seems to be connected all over Mary's house. Jupiter suggests that they should go underground so they can find some other way out.

Underground Ruins Underground Ruins

When you get control of Jupiter, go straight up and search the pot for a Medias Herb. Go right, up and you will see two pots. Search the first pot and you'll find a Premium Ticket, the second Collectable Item in the game! Now go downstairs. Go down, right, and down the stairs. Go down and you will find a chest. Open it and you will find some Emerald Earrings. Equip them right away. Unequip the Anklet and equip the E.Earring on Jupiter.

Go left, down, left and you will find a pot with a blue-top barrel next to it. Search the blue-top barrel and you will find the last hidden puzzle piece! Now go right, up and enter the door. Open up the two treasure chests here. One contains a Red Berry while the other contains a Blue Berry. Leave this room. Now go down, left, and go down the stairs.

Keep moving down until you come to an intersection - left or down. Go left and keep moving until you enter the next screen. Keep going left until you see a big, ruined temple. Go left of the temple and you will find a treasure chest that contains an Emerald Ring. Equip it right away by unequipping the Bracelet.

Note: Gain some levels here, as the monsters give you good EXPs. Get up to at least level 16 or higher. Also, keep battling the monsters here until you have received all the puzzle pieces, thereby completing the whole puzzle. I completed the entire puzzle at this point and so should you.

When you are done, try to enter the big ruined temple. Jupiter notices that this must be the God from the ruins Mary was talking about. Jupiter discovers a text that she cannot read. But the mark on the text is a symbol of Jupiter... Sailor Jupiter keeps thinking about it, but doesn't understand. Suddenly, Marduk appears and says that Nephrite's Hi Stone wasn't found in these ruins. Jupiter asks who she is and Marduk says that she will tell her when they meet again. Marduk tells them that the cave Jupiter and Mary are in now will be destroyed! That said, she tells the two to escape as soon as possible and she teleports off.

Jupiter and Mary escape from the destroyed cave and meet up with George. The two lovebirds have a heart-warming reunion and they thank Jupiter. Jupiter says that in Mishii village, it looks like there's something the two lovebirds can take to make their marriage possible in Mary's village's customs. George explains that 40 years ago, there was a stone there called Nephrite. He says that it would be nice if Jupiter could take that stone from the Protection God's Place. Jupiter wonders if the Protection God has something to do with that huge tree in Medias. George says that the stone should be inside that tree. Jupiter requests that George should come along with her, in search of Nephrite's stone. Mary decides to go back to her village for now and kisses George for good luck.

Go back to Medias Village.

Medias Village

Underground Ruins Protection Tree

Remember that huge tree we saw when we were just starting out Jupiter's scenario? It is now time to enter it, so go inside. Follow the path up and you will find Marduk walking around. Talk to her.

Sailor Jupiter wants to know who in the hell she is (XD!) and Marduk introduces herself as an Oppositio Senshi. The soldier who has traversed Time-Space to protect the planet Jupiter. Sailor Jupiter wonders what she could mean by that.

A flashback ensues, where we see a man and a woman talking about peaceful times in the future, Crystal Tokyo. The two people praise the Ginzuishou and if it weren't for the Ginzuishou, their world would fall into chaos. Horrible battles would begin. Marduk comes storming in and babbles about the two people talking about peaceful times. It appears that Marduk doubts the power of the Ginzuishou.. Suddenly, Marduk hears a mysterious voice, which is Apsu. Marduk feels that mankind is stupid. They can't understand the make-belief peace they possess now. If only they looked to history, they'd see so many battles, that were caused by the Ginzuishou. Apsu proclaims that history is repeating itself and that the Ginzuishou has reached its limits. Once again, the history of battle is coming around. Marduk decides to join forces with Apsu so that she can procure the Ginzuishou for themselves. And she desires to rid history of the Ginzuishou-caused battles. The flashback ends.

Marduk tells Jupiter that she shall retrieve Neprhite's stone before her and give it to Apsu. With that said, she runs off.

When you get control of Jupiter, just follow the path and go up the stairway. On the second floor, you will find a Luna-P. Save if you want, or just follow the path and go up the next stairway. Third floor, follow the path and go up the next stairway. Fourth floor, follow the path and go up the next stairway (I seem to be repeating myself lol). Fifth floor, you know what to do. Sixth floor, likewise. Seventh floor, likewise. Eighth floor, likewise. Ninth floor, likewise. Finally tenth floor, you will find a Luna-P and a path to the right. Save now and go right.

Keep moving right, as you get by the dark floor, and you will find Marduk. Marduk has already found the stone, but soon the idiot loses her balance and falls off the HUGE tree. You will have the choice on either jumping off the tree or get back down yourself. Jump off, since it takes you really long to get up here in the first place.

Injured, Marduk has dropped Nephrite's Hi Stone. Jupiter quickly grabs it, but Marduk regains consciousness. She challenges Jupiter to a battle. Jupiter tells George to take the Hi Stone back to Mary. George runs off. Marduk implies that Jupiter may have gotten the stone, but she shall die for it. Jupiter asks who is giving her orders, but Marduk wants to kill the Sailor Senshi and it's her sole purpose to get the Ginzuishou!

Boss: Marduk

How many times have I said “VERY easy” so far? Oh well, this battle IS very easy. All Marduk does is attack and she has no special moves. Her attacks does 3 to 5 damage only. You can beat her any way you like. Use Sparkling Wide Pressure twice and Marduk will be defeated.

Rewards after winning: 300 EXPs, 3000 Yen

Marduk tells Sailor Jupiter that it was her loss today, but she will win the next battle. With that said, Marduk teleports off. Jupiter figures it out that Marduk must be working for someone named Apsu. She wonders if they are the ones who are trying to change the world's destiny..

George appears and compliments Jupiter on not only being a good cook, but also having lots of courage. Jupiter asks about the stone she was looking for and George says that they should go home and see his father about this. So go back to George's house.

George's House

Go upstairs and go right. Speak to George's father, the village chief of Medias, and he will be furious that Nephrite's tone has been found. He decides to go over to Mishii village and blame this on their village chief. So with all 3 of you together, it's time to go back to Mishii. Exit George's house.

Medias Village

Exit the town.

Outside the village

Go back to Mishii village by following the path.

Mishii Village

Enter the large castle-like house.

The two village chief start blaming one another about finding Nephrite's stone. Mishii's chief exclaims that he didn't want to give up his little sister to Medias' chief.Jupiter seems to understand that the 40 years of arguing was all started by the two village chiefs. Mary soon realizes that George's mother is actually her aunt. She has never heard of her aunt before. It is soon found out that George and Mary are related and so, they can't be typical lovebirds.

Eventually Jupiter straightens things out for the two village chiefs and so, they FINALLY apologize after some bickering.

Out at the national park, George thanks Jupiter for her help on resolving the argument between the two villages. The legend of Nephrite's stone has made the wounds between friends in this village heal up. George thanks Jupiter once again and gives her Nephrite's Hi Stone. Yay, we finally have it! Mary says that the two villages will be able to get along from now on. It is time for Jupiter to go back to Japan, since everyone is waiting for her.

Luna prompts you to save the game. Save, and we are finally finished with Sailor Jupiter's interesting scenario.
