Q: What's the bug fix for? Do I need it?
A: It's only for Snes9X users (Windows & Mac). It resolves a crash that occurs halfway through the game (at "Freedom City" to be exact). The bug fix is a patch like the English patch, but it must be applied to a Front Mission R0M that already has the original English patch applied. If you're confused, here's step-by-step directions:
1) Download Front Mission (Jap).
2) Download Front Mission English Patch.
3) Download Bug Fix for English Patch.
4) Patch the R0M with the English patch by manually applying it with a patching program.
5) Patch the R0M with the bug fix by manually applying it with a patching program, or with auto-patching. Need help with patching? Click here! Well, that's it! Enjoy. ^_^

Q: I saved with a save state at the point when the game crashes. Do I have to start the game over?
A: Even if you apply the crash fix to your Front Mission R0M, you'll still encounter the crash because the saved state still carries the crash-causing data. Your saved position is lost. However, I have an SRM game save file that will allow you to continue at Freedom City off of somebody else's saved position. Click here to download it.

Q: What about ZSNES?
A: It's only for Snes9X users (Windows & Mac).

Q: I use both ZSNES and Snes9X. Will the bug fix make ZSNES crash?
A: No, the Front Mission R0M with the bug fix patch applied will run fine on ZSNES.

Q: Will Front Mission make girls like me?
A: No.

You need a Super Nintendo emulator in order to play the game.

Title: SNES Prelude Sequence

Length: 01:23

Description: The prelude sequence that displays upon starting up the game. It doesn't necessarily reveal much; it's just a bunch of fading images showing scientists, brains, illegible gibberish and wanzers.

Title: SNES First Battle

Length: 04:41

Description: This is the beginning of the game and the very first battle. A bunch of wanzer-equipped soldiers examine a factory and something tragic happens to one of them. Just note that sometimes the text flickers when it scrolls up. This is a bug with the SNES emulator.
