If you haven't heard already, Tales of Phantasia for GBA is going to be officially released in North America on March 6, 2006. I, the webmaster of FantasyAnime, will officially be giving away a FREE copy of English GBA Tales of Phantasia. Ah, but to determine who will be receiving this free game, I will be holding a Tales of Phantasia fan art contest. If you're saying to yourself "A fan art contest?! But I suck at drawing!" Well, then stay tuned to my FantasyAnime.com for future contests; each one is a completely different challenge. Anyway, here are the directions for this contest:
- Draw one Tales of Phantasia fan art picture.
- It can be any size, but no bigger than 800x600 (800 width & 600 height in pixels).
- It must include one or more characters from Tales of Phantasia. It can be any character(s) from Tales of Phantasia.
- It can be a hand drawing or digital drawing.
- The art must be original; no photoshopping of existing art.
- Optional: If you'd like, you can put your name, internet name, website address, and/or e-mail address on the fan art picture.
- Sign up for the FantasyAnime forums (it's free, obviously) .
- In the FantasyAnime forums, go to the forum category titled "Tales of Phantasia Contest," enter it, and reply to the thread titled "Tales of Phantasia Contest" with your Tales of Phantasia fan art picture.
- To post images in forums, you need to upload them somewhere. If you don't have a place to upload your fan art, then use Photobucket (it's free).
The contest will end on Friday, March 17, 2006 at midnight. That doesn't mean you have to post your fan art picture on March 17th. You can post it any day you like and retouch it as much as you want before March 17th's midnight. The person with the best Tales of Phantasia fan art wins! There will only be one winner.
If you win... the next day I will immediately mail you GBA Tales of Phantasia. Naturally, I'll be needing your home address to do that, or any address that can get to you (i.e. your parent's workplace). Once you receive the game, I want you to send me a photo of you happily holding onto it, and that photo will be posted in my Tales of Phantasia website in a special section about this contest. :)
If you're not the winner... your work will not be for nothing. Every piece of submitted fan art will be posted in my Tales of Phantasia website in a special section about this contest.
