"Where can I download Final Fantasy 7?" - if that's the question you're asking, you've come to the right place. You have a couple options: Option #1: Torrents •
A bundle containing every PSX Final Fantasy game (all NTSC) - 5.92 GB I have more torrent websites listed in my links. Final Fantasy 7 is a very large download. It could take several days to even over a week to download it. You'll need to leave your computer on overnight. |
Option #2: ROM Websites
ROM websites, though not many, do distribute PSX games. I have a handful listed in my links. Most of them use torrents to distribute their ISO's. A couple use mirror sites like Rapidshare (a slow annoying free service) to distribute their ISO's. ROM websites are probably a better option because lately it hasn't been easy to find the NTSC version of Final Fantasy 7 at torrent sites.
Option #3: Download it right here!
The files below are a full download of Final Fantasy 7 CDs 1-3 in the form of BIN/CUE files (a.k.a. ISO files). Here are directions on what to do:
1. Download the 24 parts for CD 1, the 24 parts for CD 2, and the 21 parts for CD 3.
2. This is the part that can get confusing, I'll try my best to explain it. Once the downloading is complete you need to extract these files. These are RAR files, so you'll be needing WinRAR or a RAR alternative to extract them. To extract a RAR file that has been split into parts, all you need to do is extract the first one and the RAR software will automatically grab from all of them.
3. Extract CD 1's 24 parts to spit out "FINALFANTASY7.bin" and "FINALFANTASY7.cue"
4. Extract CD 2's 24 parts to spit out "FINALFANTASY7-2.bin" and "FINALFANTASY7-2.cue"
5. Extract CD 3's 21 parts to spit out "FINALFANTASY7-3.bin" and "FINALFANTASY7-3.cue"
6. You're done. Enjoy :)
HELP! Keeping Final Fantasy VII up for free costs me money. Please go to my homepage and click the banner ad way at the bottom; just one click will do. It'll automatically give me a small donation out of Google's pocket. Thanks in advance!

Q: DUDE!! What the hell possessed you to split up the ISO's into a million different parts?!?
A: To conserve bandwidth. If you don't like it then download Final Fantasy VII from Option #1 and #2.
Q: What the heck is a BIN/CUE!?
A: A BIN file and a CUE file. A BIN file is all the data of a CD saved as a single file (a.k.a. a CD image). A CUE file is a set of directions for burning software, that tells it how to properly burn the BIN image.
Q: How do I know if your Final Fantasy VII BIN/CUE isn't broken after downloading?
A: If you extracted it and the RAR software didn't give you any errors, then it's fine.
Q: How do I play the Final Fantasy VII BIN/CUE?
A: You can either (1) Play it through PSX emulation via the BIN file, (2) Burn it to CD via the CUE file and play it through PSX emulation, or (3) if you have a modded Playstation, burn it to CD via the CUE file and play it on the real thing.
Q: Where can I download PSX emulators?
A: I have 'em in my site, click here.
Q: I need help with ePSXe! It looks so complicated.
A: I have an ePSXe tutorial in my site, click here.
Q: Will Final Fantasy VII make girls like me?
A: No.
Q: How do I get the Final Fantasy VII BIN/CUE to load with ePSXe?
A: Go to "File" menu and click on "Run ISO". The "Open PSX ISO" window will pop up. Look for the BIN file, click on it, then click Open.
Q: With ePSXe the game is running too fast!!
A: That's a good problem, that means you have a fast computer. To resolve it go to Config > Video > Configure and choose "Nice".
Q: How do I burn the Final Fantasy VII BIN/CUE to a CD-R?
A: You need to burn it with a feature called "Burn Image", that most mainstream burning software has; software like Nero Burning Rom, Easy CD Creator, FireBurner. If you're too poor (like me) for the good burning software, there's Burnatonce, a 100% free burning program; you can download Burnatonce here (3.81 MB). So to burn the game with these programs:
• Burning with Burnatonce: Click Settings > Device Settings and make sure the proper Read and Write settings are there. And lower the burn speed to 4x-12x speed. Then go to File > Load New Image, choose the CUE file, and burn!
• Burning with Nero Burning Rom: Go to the Recorder menu then Burn Image (but first make sure you're in normal mode instead of Express mode). Choose the CUE file. If you're given the option to burn the game as "Track-at-once" or "Disc-at-once", choose "Disc-at-once". Make sure to burn the game at a slow speed (like around 4x-12x speed).
*Remember, copied PSX games do not work on the actual Playstation system (unless it's modded).
