Odin
Ramblings: The only other Esper who teaches Meteor is Crusader - and getting Crusader is a bitch! So having Odin in your possession in fortunate if you desire Meteor. When you're done with Odin you can "convert" him to Raiden for another cool spell.
Location: Odin can be found in the Ancient Castle in the World of Ruin.
Level Up: Speed goes up by 1!
Spells:

Raiden
Ramblings: Raiden is the only Esper who teaches Quick, the spell that gives you two turns in a row after you cast it. Bah! That's dumb. I think you're better off casting Haste 2. I say keep Odin and say NO to Raiden! I am anti-Raiden! DOWN WITH RAIDEN!! Down with his false ideals and treachery! Vote for Odin! Odin deserves the presidency - not that crabby old good-for-nothing Raiden! Odin is pushing for less taxes while Raiden wants to increase them. Is that what you want? More taxes!? Bah! Vote for Odin!! Odin will give you what you want! Odin for president!!
Location: No location. Odin changes to Raiden.
Level Up: Strength goes up by 2!

Quick - 1%

Fenrir
Ramblings: There's only one thing that makes Fenrir useful and that one thing is X-Zone. Yes, X-Zone. The almighty spell that banishes monsters into the abyss of nothingness. I'd say X-Zone has a 2/3 success rate so it does carry out its purpose most of the time. Fenrir's summon is useless, he just casts sleep on all the baddies.
Location: You find Fenrir when you defeat Phunbaba in the World of Ruin.
Level Up: Max MP goes up by 30%!
Spells:
Warp - 10%
X-Zone - 5%
Stop - 3%

Palidor
Ramblings: Palidor! Palidor is my pal, he's such a fun Esper to use. He's awesome to use when you get bored of using the same old attacks in the random battles. Palidor sweeps down onto the battlefield and picks everyone up. Then each one of your characters falls down one by one as if they executed a Jump command. Palidor also packs a nice bundle of super fun spells, you learn most of them pretty fast too! If you love to use Haste then you can look forward to learning Haste 2, which casts Haste on everyone at once.
Location: You find Palidor on the beach of the Solitary Island in the World of Ruin.
Level Up: Max MP goes up by 10%!
Spells:
Haste - 20%
Slow - 20%
Haste 2 - 2%

Slow 2 - 2%
Float - 5%

Terrato
Ramblings: I love Terrato! He teaches you Quake!! All you need to do is cast Float on everyone and you'll be completely immune to Quake's almighty power. You can get Terrato early on in the World of Ruin. I don't like Quartr cause its a random spell and I don't like W Wind either cause it also damages your party.
Location: You fine Terrato in the skull at the end of Umaro's cave in Narshe (in the World of Ruin).
Level Up: Max HP goes up by 30%!
Spells:
Quake- 3%
Quartr- 1%
W Wind- 1%

Starlet
Ramblings: Starlet is exactly like Sraphim, the only difference is that Starlet teaches her spells a little faster and she has Cure 3 instead of Life. If you've already taught everyone Sraphim's spells then Starlet wouldn't be of much use to you. You're better off teaching everyone Cure 3 with the Phoenix Esper. And Starlet's summon isn't all that great either, all she does is cure everyone. You're better off casting Cure 3. Despite all that, Starlet is surely one of the most beautiful Espers! She rests on several blankets and has one of those golden imitation sunlight thingys behind her head.
Location: You find Starlet hidden in a bookshelf within Owzer's house in the World of Ruin. Owzer tells you which bookshelf she's in cause he wants to get rid of her, he thinks she's bad luck.
Level Up: Stamina goes up by 2!
Spells:
Cure - 25%
Cure 2 - 16%
Cure 3 - 1%

Regen - 20%
Remedy - 20%

Tritoch
Ramblings: Tritoch is one of my most favorite Espers! It's the only Esper that teaches Ice 3 and Bolt 3 AND it has one of the coolest Summon attacks! Unfortunately, if an enemy is strong or even immune to any of the three elements, then Tritoch's attack would not have much of an effect. Look at Tritoch, isn't it beautiful? So many pretty colors. I wish Tritoch would teach its spells a little faster - 1% takes forever!
Location: You find Tritoch in the hills of Narshe in the World of Ruin.
Level Up: Magic Power goes up by 2!
Spells:
Fire 3 - 1%
Ice 3 - 1%
Bolt 3 - 1%

Phoenix
Ramblings: You're going to love Phoenix! Phoenix is the Esper that packs the best bundle of spells!! He's the only Esper that teaches two of the most useful spells in the game:Life 2 and Life 3. Life 2 instantly revives a character with full HP and Life 3 automatically revives a character when they fall. Phoenix teaches you Fire 3 at a whopping 3% while Tritoch teaches it at a mere 1% (you suck, Tritoch!). You receive Phoenix after you witness a touching scene between Locke and a past love. Look at Phoenix's neck, it appears that he can bend his head backwards.
Location: You find Phoenix after completing the Phoenix Cave.
Level Up: Bah, none.
Spells:
Life - 10%
Life 2 - 2%
Life 3 - 1%

Cure 3 - 2%
Fire 3 - 3%

Alexandr
Ramblings: Alexander is most my favorite Esper!! He rises up from the ground and scorches the battlefield with a massive Pearl explosion! I pissed in my pants when I watched his summon attack for the first time. I still piss in my pants experiencing Alexander in future Final Fantasys. Shell, Safe and Remedy are also nifty.
Location: Alexander is found in the throne room in Doma Castle right after you enter Cyan's soul (in the World of Ruin).
Level Up: Bah, none.
Spells:
Pearl - 2%
Shell - 10%
Safe - 10%

Dispel - 10%
Remedy - 15%

Ragnarok
Ramblings: Ragnarok teaches Ultima, the most powerful attack magic spell in the game!! However, Ragnarok's summon is completely useless. All it does is randomly turn enemies into common items. Yipee.
Location: You find Ragnarok in Narshe in the World of Ruin. You need Locke to open up Narshe's Weapons shop. Inside you'll find an old man who asks you if you want the sword or the rock. Choose the rock (which is the Esper).
Level Up: Bah, none.
Spells:
Ultima - 1%

Bahamut
Ramblings: Bahamut, the king of the dragons! He's definitely one of the coolest Espers. He flies onto the battlefield and blasts away the enemy with his mighty breath. Bahamut is so cool that he was even given his own game, Bahamut Lagoon. And you know what? Bahamut's name sounds like "Baha, mut!" as if someone is laughing at a dog.
Location: Bahamut is your reward if you manage to defeat Doom Gaze in the World of Ruin. Heh, it almost seems like Doom Gaze laid a turd.
Level Up: Max HP goes up by 50%! Stupendous!
Spells:
Flare - 2%

Crusader
Ramblings: Crusader is the weirdest, yet most interesting Esper. It's the only Esper that actually attacks YOU along with the enemy. And its the only Esper that's made up of three... um... I want to say people, but one is a demon so... let's say three warriors. And he's the last Esper you're going to get since the last dragon is in Kefta's tower. I wonder what the origin of this Esper is. It looks like three warriors who are cursed to be locked in battle for all eternity. Merton and Meteor are quite powerful spells! Merton is the most powerful fire spell and Meteor is probably the most coolest-looking spell in the game.
Location: You are automatically awarded Crusader when you defeat the 8 dragons in the World of Ruin.
Level Up: Max MP goes up by 50%! Fabulous!
Spells:
Merton - 1%
Meteor - 10%
